Rocky Boy Health Center (RBHC) has been serving the Chippewa Cree community since 1976. Today, we provide comprehensive healthcare to over 5,000 people with a staff of more than 200 employees dedicated to patient care, prevention, and community well-being.
As an ambulatory care facility, RBHC offers a wide range of services, including primary care, dental, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, behavioral health, public health nursing, physical therapy, optometry, chiropractic, and traditional healing support. We also provide care coordination, community wellness programs, youth development initiatives, medical transportation, and outreach services to ensure our patients receive the care they need both inside and outside the clinic.
Mission
The official mission of the Rocky Boy Health center is:
To educate and empower our relatives to live well.
The RBHC mission reflects a commitment to more than just healthcare. It represents a promise to support each individual's journey toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. Through culturally sensitive care, outreach, and education we strive to uplift our community with respect, compassion, and knowledge.
Vision
Our vision as a health center is:
Striving to be trusted, a valued partner, and creators of positive change.
We envision a future where the health center is recognized not only as a healthcare provider, but also as a trusted ally in the lives of out patients, families, and community. We aim to be a source of strength, healing, and hope working together to build a healthier tomorrow.
Values
Our work is guided by four core values that reflect who we are as a tribal heath system and how we serve our community. These values ensure that patients remain at the center of everything we do and every decision we make supports their well-being. Together, these values shape a healthcare environment where every patient feels seen, heard, and cared for because our work is not just able treatment, but about building trust, relationships, and community wellness.
Leadership
RBHC is governed by a Board of Directors that provides oversight and approves the strategic, business, and clinical priorities of the health center. Our Executive Leadership Team, healthcare providers, and staff are united by a shared vision of a wholly healthy community. We pursue this through our mission: educating and empowering our relatives to live well.

Board of Directors
The RBHC Board of Directors plays a critical leadership role in guiding the organization’s strategic direction, financial stewardship, and overall accountability to our community. As public officials, board members act in the best interest of the entire tribal population, balancing cultural traditions, regulatory requirements, and the health needs of all patients served by RBHC. The RBHC Board is composed of elected members of the Chippewa Cree Tribe’s Business Committee, which serves as the Tribe’s official governing body. This structure ensures that RBHC is covered by leaders who are directly accountable to the tribal community and who understand the broader goals and priorities of the Tribe as a whole.
